We are an NDIS Provider

How to claim Deaf Children Australia Resources through the NDIS

Please follow the steps below to use your allocated funding to purchase resources from Deaf Children Australia. We are a registered provider supplying resources under the Consumables (Core) budget for low-risk, low-cost items under $500 per item only.

To check if you are eligible to purchase these items with your NDIS plan refer to the checklist on Page 10 of “Booklet 3: Using your NDIS plan”. You can find the checklist at https://www.ndis.gov.au/media/336/download

If you are not sure how your plan is managed, we recommend that you contact NDIA on 1800 800 110.

For NDIA Managed participants you will need to have at least $1 in your consumables budget and enough funding in core to purchase these items. We will do a service booking and submit a claim (if appropriate) to the NDIA directly for you. If it is approved, we will process and send your order to you.

  1. Fill your cart with items to purchase
  2. Request a Quote from us at checkout
  3. Complete our Online Service Agreement

Plan Manager

Your plan manager will process your order

  1. Fill your cart with items to purchase
  2. Proceed to the checkout
  3. Include NDIS Number and Participant’s Name in the Notes Section
  4. Select NDIS Plan Manager payment option

Self Managed

You will process your own order

  1. Purchase your online order privately
  2. You submit the claim to NDIA for payment

Step 1.

Add items to your online cart and click “CREATE A QUOTE” at the checkout cart. Do not click ‘accept’ on the quote, as this may create a duplicate order for you.

Please note, we require a new service agreement each time you complete an order with us (even if it is from the same plan period).

Step 2.

Fill out your Service Agreement form. You can download the Service Agreement form by clicking here.

Step 3.

Email your Service Agreement Form to: shop@deafchildren.org.au. The subject line of the email should be “Service Agreement – DCA Shop”.

Please note: Claims can take up to 3 business days for us to process.
